My favorite part of this painting is that no one who's actually living is being saved. They're stuck standing there at the bus stop screaming, "WHAT THE FUCK?!". Meanwhile any pilgrims and Laura Ingalls Wilders who've been hanging around are movin' on up. Even Tonto and Crazy Horse (upper right), Mary Poppins (upper left) and The Burger King (he's in there) are supermaning it on over to the big light show. Up, up, and Yahweh!(image via)
